What would everyone here say are some of the best pop/r and b or mainstream hip hop records since 2000? I know this board is frequented by p4k writers and fans, but even they like pop music.

xp, yep - Granda was my favourite album of 2010.

Granda is a nice album but IMO overhyped. nonetheless, pleased to see a mention of Brodka on ILM of all places!

The best dancey-pop record with multiple charting hit singles since 2000 is Justin Timberlake "Justified."

Lately I've been considering "I Get Wet" the album that foreshadowed a lot of the party-centered pop of the past 2-3 years.. for better or worse, he kind of invented a genre.
