Brooks & Dunn had a song I liked ("Lost and Found") off the same album as "Boots Scootin' Boogie" so that works in their favor. Billy Ray never gave me anything else that I can remember.

I know that Billy Ray Cyrus was more popular but I heard Boot Scootin' Boogie more at family functions, ect.

I remember that my aunt's fondness for Billy Ray Cyrus was a huge source of embarrassment for my father. I think if he heard either song played at a family function he would leave and go home to his Hank Williams and Jack Daniels.

"Chattahoochee" at least has pep to it. "Achy Breaky Heart" just plods along, and Cyrus's voice totally lacks charisma. I still can't see any of its appeal. Maybe all those line dancers didn't want that much of a workout.
