Pink, cause I actually liked it at the time, though after a year of it I've definitely heard enough of it for one lifetime.

yeah it's definitely a bit overexposed. that and "Airplanes" and "Dynamite" all feel like they were bigger than the actual chart-toppers.

this was the best pop song of 2011, easy vote 4 me -- "fuckin perfect" was pretty good tho

i remember for like 6 months all i knew of "Dynamite" was the first 30 seconds because i'd hear that hook and be like maybe this will be aight and then it goes into that awkwardly frankensteined "I'M GONNA DAINCE DAINCE DAINCE" second section and i reflexively reach for the dial

what's the worst song on this list? of the ones i can actually recall i'd go with "the lazy song" or one of the ke$hae but have a feeling that the eminem may be worse

"there goes my baby" def, not one of usher's best but at least a breath of fresh air from most of this list.

Blow sneaks it over Dynamite, for me. Had it been Higher instead, Cruz would have won.

Gotta say I don't even remember ever hearing the Eminem, Kay and Usher songs.

rocketeer might fit nicely in the "one hit wonders that actually had another hit" thread -- like, it went top 10 but i feel like hardly anyone noticed. is it too soon to call far east movement a one hit wonder?

^^^ these are all fine by me, honestly, although "peak: #9" probably helped "Rock That Body," I never heard it HALF as much as I heard most of what's on this list. Voting "Blow."

Eminem and Bruno Mars easily the worst on here, although the format of the thread makes me want to judge them according to "worst third sequel" criteria, ie, given how godawful "Not Afraid" was, can I really say I was disappointed by "No Love"? At least Em musters some facsimile of energy in the course of the song, which is more than I can say for Bruno Mars.
