The Console one looks rubbish but the Salt n Pepa remixes are probably fun.

Tom (Groke), Friday, 13 September 2002 11:27 (twenty-three years ago)

See? You can actaully answeer the question instead of wanking about albums that were probably not released here and there arent very very cheap

vic (vicc13), Friday, 13 September 2002 13:54 (twenty-three years ago)

But then the thread would only be two posts long. And what fun is that?

dave225 (Dave225), Friday, 13 September 2002 14:28 (twenty-three years ago)

don't know about the salt n pepa. console is v disappointing. he's done a few great songs but the highpoint of that CD (if it's the reissue) is 14 zero zero (track down the 12" instead cos the other mixes piss on the one on the CD) and a song which bjork lifted wholesale for her last LP and made much better

simon 803 (simon 803), Friday, 13 September 2002 20:24 (twenty-three years ago)

I dont want fun. I want records. When i want fun i go to ILE

vic (vicc13), Friday, 13 September 2002 20:42 (twenty-three years ago)

Well, I don't know jack didley about Console, but I'm certainly of the mindset that spending any money on a Salt'n'Pepa album is an excercise in poor judgment. Shoop indeed.

Which is why I say, you'd be much better off with any of these fine choices.......

more proof schooly d is the rockists gangsta choice.

jess (dubplatestyle), Friday, 13 September 2002 21:06 (twenty-three years ago)

Alex I can agree with your choices, except for Dio.

brg30 (brg30), Friday, 13 September 2002 21:58 (twenty-three years ago)

Don't buy the Happy Flowers Vic (not that you were rushing to do so) - much better on paper, bit of a bore after a cpl songs.

Tom (Groke), Friday, 13 September 2002 22:00 (twenty-three years ago)

stop touching my food!

brian badword (badwords), Friday, 13 September 2002 22:23 (twenty-three years ago)

Actually, I just put in Dio and Schooly D. for comedic effect.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Saturday, 14 September 2002 00:22 (twenty-three years ago)

....but I'll stand by all my other choices.....including the Surf Punks.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Saturday, 14 September 2002 00:25 (twenty-three years ago)

Download: "console - zero zero (special c64 version).mp3" & "Salt & Pepa - Tramp.mp3", then buy "Smash TV" for something closer to Console.
