Yah this is rlly good.

Is it just me or is Hot Natured going in a kind of (smoothed out) The Present Lover direction on some of its releases? (see also Waifs & Strays)

present lover was immed. what i thought of. there's something like that really, really faint keyboard part in 'what good' in this song too

is it fair to say i am probs the only person on here that likes 'infinity'

i don't deny it's a p silly song, a trifle even, but i guess what i am getting at is the abiding conviction these guys (meaning hot creations fam) are as it were talking my language, which is a feeling i really don't have with the sort of house that floats the general ilm boat

(and yeah ok if you happen to feel like i am disguising already-resolved contempts of court with a "is it just wickle old me" post there then i salute your percipience)

I like "infinity"! I prefer "house of infinity" though.

yeah I'm sympathetic to this line of argument.

People hating on Hot Creations is like either some mnml ssgs thing or some m clark thing and either way I'm a bit whatever the low-energy version of rmde is.

I've never been mad keen on Hot Creations bar the occasional Lee Foss track, same goes for some of Crosstown Rebels, Seth Troxler etc. There are always tracks here and there I like but as a general sound I usually find myself wishing it could be either more spangly and disco OR more druggy.

I will admit to have not actively seeked much out for a year or so though.

really should get around to this miguel campbell album but his big single was the least impressive big hot creations single last year for me

'something special'? that took me a long while but suddenly it went from gnawing repetition to magnificent in a way i still find difficult to explain

don't really feel like that album will be any good but i'll be interested to figure out if and how it fits

yeah. it was okay but my benchmarks are things like "keep my cool" and "your everything"
