I've asked similar questions on other threads but no-one ever hazards a guess. Now that digital storage is so cheap and we have terabyte usb drives and such, can you already put "Jazz" in your pocket?
Alternate questions: How many bytes does all of Coltrane, Miles, Monk and Mingus take up? How many bytes does all of Beatles, Stones, Zep, Floyd and Sabbath (for example) take up?
I know it depends on bitrate and compression, just looking for ballpark figures. Any guesses?

figure out how much space the average album takes up in a usb drive and then multpily thst number by the number of albums released by blue note and impulse. that should give you some idea. best wishes, scott
