when I was 20 I did a cover of "this guys in love w u", I'm scared to go back and listen to it

xp i love ani but she's made some odd career choices.

"wishin' and hopin'" makes me cringe; hard to verbalize why. something about reminding me of my mom's high school yearbook photo from 1963.

"Wives and Lovers" because it's so hilariously sexist and dated.

Aretha's "I Say a Little Prayer" is on my short list for greatest single ever, so that, but that's kind of misleading, in that her style is so against the grain of what Bacharach's greatest songs usually sound like. I could vote for any one of these--they're all brilliant:
