Interesting take on this old issue, kind of challenging David Stubbs' thesis in Fear of Music that "while the general public has no trouble embracing avant garde and experimental art, there is, by contrast, mass resistance to avant garde and experimental music" (I'm quoting from the blurb). What says ILM?
