Recommend 100 Old Skool DM or Tech-DM for ilxors wanting to discover the classics

As I've been hanging around in the soundrop metal room with sean wayne and viceroy mcfrobisher, I've finally heard some DM that i like. I think it seems to be tech death like Death and Cynic that I like but i liked the Obituary i heard. Basically its the vox thats the decider. Hate the low rumble waaaaarrrrghhhhhhhh stuff. But the reason i always liked Entombed was the vox. I could make them out!

So perhaps ilx M experts could recommend lots of obvious and not so obvious DM classics? But nothing with those vox i described if possible.

not to keen on deicide or most gothenburg stuff btw.

Doom/Death is fine I guess but no need to recommend Esoteric/Winter/Coffins as I obv know that stuff.

I'll kick us off with 2 I do love and have done for years

1. Entombed - Wolverine Blues
2. Entombed - Left Hand Path

I don't do the spotify, so here's some stuff anyway.

5. Grave - Into the Grave
6. Disgrace - Grey Misery (death with doom elements, you might hate the vocals)
7. Autopsy's early stuff
8. Hellwitch (Floridian tech-death/thrash)
9. Gorguts generally
10. TIMEGHOUL

AG, you would probably like stuff with martin van drunen singing: (early) pestilence - 'consuming impulse'
asphyx - 'the rack'
and more recently, hail of bullets - 'of frost and war' and 'on divine winds'. he is awesome.

maybe some of the other swedish bands too, some of whose vocals verge more on the forlorn troll in an icy cave BM-type:
dissection - 'the somberlain' and 'storm of the light's bane'
grotesque - 'in the embrace of evil'
desultory - 'into eternity'
necrophobic - 'the nocturnal silence'
bastard priest - 'under the hammer of destruction'

ooh, and carnage - 'dark recollections' and dismember - 'like an everflowing stream'.

autopsy mental funeral is like the gold standard of stripped-down death with doomy parts. I think you would dig it.

gorguts from wisdom to hate has a really killer sludge vibe going for it too. no wave guitar weirdness is way toned-down from obscura heights as well. I know you're not much of a fan, but if you haven't tried that one yet, it's certainly worth a shot.

ulcerate destroyers of all is a recent fave that I repped for on the 2011 metal poll. big grower for me. strange mix of dissonant, ringing guitars with shades of neurosis/isis/etc. composition thrown up against more trad death vox and sick, blasting drums. doesn't sound like it would work but it's really powerful, I think.

here's a link to a track I really dig:
