"s/he's got a really good voice" is the most basic compliment people pay to singers, but you rarely see it applied to rappers, for obvious reasons. but many rappers are great not just because of their lyrical prowess or technical flow but because their voice just sounds damn good. i don't know if i've explained it that clearly but hopefully you know what i mean.

inspired by listening to this on the night bus last night and just marvelling at dizzee's amazing voice, which i could happily listen to forever regardless of what he's chatting about.
