THE TUNE IS SPACE AKA DROOOOOOOO HAS A VERY IMPORTANT SCIENCE-THEMED QUESTION TO ASK YOU ALL

'I'm DJing a dance party with a science theme and I need fun songs about science that will make people dance. Assuming I've already got the Thomas Dolby "She Blinded Me With Science" / OingoBoingo "Weird Science" / Beastie Boys "Sound of Science" trifecta covered, what else should be on my playlist? Songs can be tangential to science but should have some noticeable hook that refers to physics, chemistry, geology, biology, etc."

he's apparently having trouble logging back in or something.

When I start churnin', burnin' and turnin'

Burnin' you on your neutron
Causing you to scream
"Hit me in the proton, BABY!"

"Chemistry" by Ohio stalwarts Michael Stanley Band.

I'm just a product of World War Two
So I never really knew any better
Out in the suburbs where things were new
All the dreams of our folks ran together
But on the way to their destination
They second mortgaged their expectations
All of this in God's favorite nation
If you're feeling down just take two
'Cause we got...

Chemistry...don't think about it
Chemistry...can't live without it
Chemistry...better living through
Chemistry...for you and me, baby

We started early on make-believe
It's a part of the American dream
And I know people who just won't believe
If it's not on a TV screen
We're gonna see that you feel all right
A little something get you through the night
And we don't care if your black or white
Don't you worry 'cause the first one's free
'Cause we got...

Chemistry...don't think about it
Chemistry...can't live without it
Chemistry...better living through
Chemistry...for you and me, baby

Let's take advantage of the situation
Let the man at the counter prescribe salvation
Are there holes in your life that you're trying to fill
'Cause if you got a problem, boy we got a pill
We got...

Chemistry...don't think about it
Chemistry...can't live without it
Chemistry...oh better living through
Chemistry...for you and me

Thanks so much to Scott for posting this on my behalf and to everybody who responded! some rad suggestions here! I seem to have solved my registration/login freezeout- for a while there it was like a bad parody of a Turing test, I kept flunking out of captcha because the tweeking/distortion of the letter forms on the ILX captcha is so ambiguous and open to interpretation
