Bloody hell, this is a horrible chart. I don't actually like any of these, but I'd say the top three that I could just about stand to listen to would be '7 Seconds', 'Confide in Me' and 'Regulate'. Voting for the latter as there are times when it comes on that I do actively enjoy it instead of just not minding it.

Swamp Thing is the banjo one, yeah? That was pretty good. I liked the Prodigy one at the time. For me it's a toss up between Dawn Penn and Manchester United.

xpost: I re-played DJ Miko this afternoon. My love of Eurobosh covers is second to nobody's, but this one didn't actually hold up too well.

The Grid's "Swamp Thing" and Two Cowboys' Malcolm McLaren-sampling "Everybody Gonfi Gon" ... banjo-fied Hoedown House at its short-lived commercial peak, there. I still find charm in the latter's titular transcription error.

Miko was more plodding than i remembered it, just relistened. Still like it.

Have never enjoyed any Hoedown House, so horrible.

Feel like I always vote for the Prodigy (and so does everyone else), and the 90s "No No No" now seems a bit pedestrian compared to the original, so it's looking like Swamp Thing, but this is a choice which needs a few more drinks to get properly into the 90s nostalgia zone.

I love the 90s No No No, the transition from the stabby intro to the skank is like slipping into a warm bath.

Also Live Forever is the one Oasis song I have any time for.

Cannot believe I'm the first person to even mention this. It feels like a sort of high-point of mid-90s super-glossy drivetime pop, like Let Loose somehow managed to line everything up absolutely perfectly just this once. Also, drumstick twirling. All of the drumstick twirling.

This was a toughie. Regulate, 7 Seconds, Parklife, Confide In Me and Live Forever all very strong singles, and a lot of the others weren't too bad either. Very few godawful ones; maybe a lot of meh "follow-up to big hit" ones.

Reckon Regulate's going to get more than enough love here (ditto for Live Forever in the UK) so I'm putting in a vote for Parklife because I suspect it (i.e. the song) never really crossed the Atlantic and it probably does need the vote.
