The thread where you pick your 5 favorite covers of a specific artist. Limiting it to 5 to keep a quality control and so lesser known / newer acts can get in too.
In case I'm not being very clear see my next post for an example.

PO5: Covers of Brian Eno
Alva Noto + Ryuichi Sakamoto - By This RiverBauhaus - Third UncleChica and the Folder - I'll Come RunningSuperpitcher - Baby's on FireUilab - St. Elmo's Fire
PO5: Kraftwerk covers
Señor Coconut - Showroom DummiesKat Onoma - RadioactivityGary Lucas - AutobahnGlass Candy - Computer LoveTrio Fratres - Das Model
Still the best Señor Coconut song, showroom dummies fits the mambo novelty perfectly. Kat Onoma and Gary Lucas are new-agey approaches to the songs. Glass Candy is pretty faithful but somehow manages to sound both older and newer than the original.Picking this particular Model cover from the hundreds there are, because of this video. Song is pretty awesome too:

Might as well do this one without overthinking it:
The Beatles
Caetano Veloso - Lady MadonnaCharlotte Dada - Don't Let Me DownThe Five Stairsteps - Dear PrudenceStevie Wonder - We Can Work It OutThe Supremes - Come Together
And yet there are also the Eddie Hazel, 801 and Cristina covers that I think I like better than the originals.
