More stuff that sounds similar to "Odd Flute" by Trance Trax (1991-ish Belgian new beat industrial grinding acid/techno kinda thing)

feel free to flood this thread with youtubes if you want. whoever you are. my computer can take it. i've been obsessed with this sound SINCE 1991. and Trance Trax seems to give it to me just the way i like it.

basically, anything that sounds like these tracks is what i want to hear more of:

although "fuck you" is a little more "playful" then the first two tracks. and more sample-heavy a la new beat than the first two. still has it going on though. that nasty grinding edge i love.

if there are youtube-era ilm threads for similar lemme know.

feel like these guys put out 50 tracks in 1991 and then went away.

this shit is awesome!!! i hadn't heard these jamz. i do know these guys' zsa zsa la boum and little little aliases, which i imagine you have checked out? they have a similar ultra-thick muscle sound production. makes me want to take my shirt off and party!!

i have not checked the severed heads 90s stuff but i imagine it doesn't bump as hard as this stuff! if it did i would be mega stoked.

there's also a couple SA42 tunes which bang kinda like this. my fave is this one:

more new beat, a little earlier than the trance trax. maybe not as thick. i saw farley jackmaster funk recently and he played this one, it mowed through a lot of the other older chicago shit he was playing, was awesome. the first acid line filtering down was panic-inducing!!!

damn you can get this shit for cheap in europe! sick. odd flute is such a banger!! i love that thick euro sound that i guess probably developed from the new beat stuff.

some later shit that is faster, more bouncy and less grinding, but still super tight and kinda minimalist:

more of a todd terry feel i guess. texturally kinda similar maybe? another one by the same peeps that i love:

i think i'm just playing my "jams" now, dunno how similar they really are to the trance trax!!
