Cancer For Cure / El-P tour lineup speculation

listened to the leak of the new El-P today and based on one listen through, it lives up to my (rather high) expectations.

spotted this tweet which got me reallll excited. who are we thinking for this? almost definitely Killer Mike -- will they tour R.A.P. Music and Cancer For Cure side-by-side? who else? Despot probably, eXquire hopefully. Danny Brown and the rest of the gang? (i.e. Das Racist, Bronson) Perhaps Aesop Rock or some other former Def Jukie?

Tracks w/ the guest mcs are the highlights IMO - tho "Drones Over BKLYN" is pretty massive.

xxpost; not sure what the source of your confusion is. maybe you didn't notice that "this tweet" is a link?

pretty unforgettable show at Santos' last night. love being there when an artist (or artists) are "having a moment" -- in this case, El-P and Killer Mike and to a lesser extent that whole loosely-affiliated NYC crew. also i have to say i pretty much nailed the lineup speculation -- killer mike, exquire and despot rapped, heems made a brief appearance, action bronson smoked a joint in the back of the stage, lakutis moshed w/ the crowd during the encore, and mr len played the role of the random former def jukie.

no danny brown but i guess that's good because i would've had to buy new pants after that

I'm hoping danny brown's gonna show up to the ann arbor date

i dig the aesthetic that's somehow developed between these sort of unlikely cohorts - el-p, killer mike, danny brown, mr muthafukkin exquire....i can't quite articulate the aesthetic but it's def cool

i'm right there with you matt. it's got a degree of zeitgeist riding without appearing to pander.

six months pass...

the last track (is it two songs on one track?) is pretty devastating.
