"Ridin Around & Drillin" vs."Why They Madd"

first one is cool but doesn't really seem to have an anthemic hook. second one was still dudes talking at the thirty second mark so I got distracted and didn't get to the actual song. first one wins by default

Imo sasha is more immediately impressive but katie has more replay value

the 'why they madd' beat is much better than 'ridin around & drillin' beat which is generic + boring. sasha is a better rapper too but katie kinda nails the stoned, intimidating style that these chicago kids do so well and i prefer 'i need a hitta' to both of these, by a long way.

i think its p unique vs. brick squad stuff. like the noises in the beat seem to happen spontaneously/unexpectedly, or something, it's got less forward momentum than a standard lex beat

but really the song is all abt the hook
