My appreciation for Cosmogramma has definitely increased on repeated listens (not that I didn't already like it in 2010).

My one reservation being that it borrows so heavily from the past. Then again, that seems to be a dominant quality of our current music.

This is difficult. I feel very far away from my favorite albums from 2010 in particular. I would still endorse them, but the fact that I don't actually want to hear them makes me doubt my picks.

For 2010, I think I'd rather listen to Daddy Yankee's Mundial (which only me, unperson and Frank Kogan liked or even noticed) than Janelle Monae or Marina & the Diamonds at this point, but is it really better? I don't think so.
