Jump Around is an awesome song but like an unplanned lunch of a litre of off licence own brand sherry with six cheese and crisp (U.S. trans. chip) sandwiches it's awesomeness comes with a strangely bleak long tail and optimum exposure therefore maximises around the one listen per three years mark.

I put Harlem Shuffle on a pub jukebox once and saw a group of people about to 'jump' straight after the intro. The deflated look on their face was classic. Hate house of pain, it's the drunk people in a bad night club effect..

That will always be classic. Never gets old, that one.

As mentioned elsewhere, I used to rather like Jump Around until three abject years of student night hell in Colchester beat it out of me. Every time that fanfare came on, people would clap and cheer as if they hadn't already heard it EVERY FUCKING WEEK that semester, and a little bit of me would die inside.
