Best known for his playing with Miles Davis from 1973-75 (Dark Magus, Agharta, Pangaea, Get Up With It and a million bootlegs), he also played on Muddy Waters' Electric Mud and After the Rain (which is a better album, IMO), Howlin' Wolf's The Howlin' Wolf Album (aka "This Is Howlin' Wolf's New Album") and a bunch of other stuff. In more recent years, he guested with Burnt Sugar on a few albums and had a band called Children of Agharta in which he re-interpreted '70s Miles work. An amazing guitarist with a totally unique sound.
