all-time classic. this came on the radio last week and i remarked on how well it held up.

take the claude bolling (get bent), Thursday, 21 June 2012 19:44 (thirteen years ago)

I don't know how on Earth it took me so long, but I saw the video to this for the very first time while I was out last night; they were showing it on the screen in the pub for some reason. We were all in hysterics! I can't recall laughing at a promo clip that much for a very long time!

The Jupiter 8 (Turrican), Thursday, 21 June 2012 19:48 (thirteen years ago)

the huge hair to groin-thrust ratio is off the charts

Peppermint Patty Hearst (VegemiteGrrl), Thursday, 21 June 2012 20:29 (thirteen years ago)

love this track, but my whole life the 'sexiness' of David Coverdale has been a mystery to me. He's so weird & creepy looking

Peppermint Patty Hearst (VegemiteGrrl), Thursday, 21 June 2012 20:30 (thirteen years ago)

I'm missing what makes it funnier than a random dozen 1980s hair metal vids.

Kevin John Bozelka, Thursday, 21 June 2012 20:31 (thirteen years ago)

well if you're going to be like that...

Peppermint Patty Hearst (VegemiteGrrl), Thursday, 21 June 2012 20:31 (thirteen years ago)

CLASSIC. This song is all John Sykes. What riffs.

A. Begrand, Thursday, 21 June 2012 21:16 (thirteen years ago)

That video is funny when it gets to the bit with strings and dude starts playing his Ibanez with a bow. Coverdale though, he's like a plastic Robert Plant.

gonna send him to outer space, to hug another face (NickB), Thursday, 21 June 2012 22:10 (thirteen years ago)

YES. THANK YOU

Peppermint Patty Hearst (VegemiteGrrl), Thursday, 21 June 2012 22:21 (thirteen years ago)

like if a bad wax museum Robert Plant came to life and started walking around

Peppermint Patty Hearst (VegemiteGrrl), Thursday, 21 June 2012 22:22 (thirteen years ago)

that guitar solo makes me well up

omar little, Thursday, 21 June 2012 22:25 (thirteen years ago)

this song makes me throw up

it looks like something rupert the bear would wear (Algerian Goalkeeper), Thursday, 21 June 2012 22:29 (thirteen years ago)

omar little, Thursday, 21 June 2012 22:30 (thirteen years ago)

AG you are glam bait and you know it

Peppermint Patty Hearst (VegemiteGrrl), Thursday, 21 June 2012 22:34 (thirteen years ago)

Peppermint Patty Hearst (VegemiteGrrl), Thursday, 21 June 2012 22:35 (thirteen years ago)

well everyone knows how much i hate that late 80s Whitesnake stuff by now

it looks like something rupert the bear would wear (Algerian Goalkeeper), Thursday, 21 June 2012 22:36 (thirteen years ago)

I actually don't mind the two big hits off this album

*humps mic stand in front of a gigantic moon and gets taken away by the 'sex police'*

The Jupiter 8 (Turrican), Monday, 25 June 2012 16:51 (thirteen years ago)

They're just Cheap Trick's Dream Police. Though in this case more of a Wet Dream Police.

EZ Snappin, Monday, 25 June 2012 16:52 (thirteen years ago)

eleven years pass...

this song fucking rules

especially at the end when coverdale screams [SONG TITLE!] [SONG TITLE!] [SONG TITLE!]

mookieproof, Thursday, 18 January 2024 05:10 (one year ago)

they played this before an Iron Maiden show a few years ago and the whole section i was sitting in rocked the hell out (incl me & mr veg)

werewolves of laudanum (VegemiteGrrl), Thursday, 18 January 2024 07:05 (one year ago)

Coverdale is the Miles O'Keeffe of hair metal, just so ridiculous, but wonderful.

omar little, Thursday, 18 January 2024 07:14 (one year ago)

one year passes...

the pensive middle section tho

can david coverdale we keep away? no, we manifestly cannot; indeed, we need to be closer

mookieproof, Thursday, 20 March 2025 02:52 (five months ago)

this is the best example of what led zeppelin would've been like in the 80s

Western® with Bacon Flavor, Thursday, 20 March 2025 06:01 (five months ago)

nah, they were pretty forward/ahead of the curve, even in 1978:
