I think you do have to either log in with facebook or make an account with Yougov in order to suggest the terrible things that they should do to themselves, but it'd make me very happy, on the offchance any of you ever did see them in the street, if you would just run up to them, shout "GG ALLIN" in their faces, and then scamper away once more.

Seems to have lots of links to right leaning organisations (ie the Telegraph, Tory party, their ex chairman now a Conservative MP etc) Think I'll stick to Ipsos Mori thanks.

I'm aware it happens, I'm just not used to seeing it spelled out like that. With a drawing.

It's the blatant-ness that's striking here.

So many ads I've seen (in the past (I mean I don't look at those ads anymore, not that they don't do that now) on bandboards) say "only apply if you look like Joan Jett" or some such, but I just assumed they were kidding (weren't they?)

I don't even want to get into this because it's too close to the bone, but based on my years as a session bassist - no. They weren't kidding.

It's weird, too, the drawing thing, but it's not like I haven't seen that before. It's totally from the language of fashion. Draw a picture of a dress and expect a woman to fit into that, rather than vice versa. It just upsets me so much to see women buying into it so hard.

I mean, see even the posts upthread about "I recommend salads" etc. for how people think it's totally acceptable to body police women in bands - no, just scratch the "in bands" bit of that.
