There are all sorts of weird stuff in some of those extended Zappa pieces and the quick cut edits and segues often blur when one thing ends and the next thing starts.

I listen to Zappa's music and both on the albums and some of the live shows, it always kind of reminds me like watching TV and FZ is often the 'host' of the show, as it never stops and sometimes even goes to 'commerical'. It's kind of a unique presentation, although some rap records with the use of skits kind of do something similar.
