No, it's not as good as Outloud. You can't load stuff from your computer, but you can queue up stuff from YouTube and Soundcloud, and those services have pretty much everything anyway. Plus, video! And creepy wide-eyed avatars! Takes a little bit to get used to the interface, but it's pretty good once you do – you set up playlists that it will automatically cycle through, and there's a line for the DJ booth so everyone will get their fair shot. You do need Facebook or twitter to log in, but you can change your username once in. If you have any questions, just ask one of the other people in the room. Once we get this thing rolling properly, we can have theme sessions or even movie nights! Here's a picture of the surreal landscape:

Important interface notes: if you want to change your avatar,your avatar and click "change avatar." The more points you have, the more avatars you can unlock. You get points by clicking "w00t" on other people's songs and having other people click that while your song is playing.
To add songs, click on "my playlist" and import stuff from YouTube or soundcloud. If you want to preview your song to make sure it's the right version, double-click on it before you add it.

The limited selection of Spotify is much less of an issue than it used to be... but the regional catalog differences are a pain. Looks like plug.dj isn't immune to that either though.

Yeah, I guess since there is no real song time limit in this room, we just have to try to be courteous to people. AG was playing a long song because it was just me and viceroy in there. Probably he shouldn't have played a really long song, but I think if somebody is doing that, we can ask nicely if they wouldn't mind cutting it short.
