there were like 10 or 15 other tapes and CDs with it, just lying there on a grassy island along with a can of corn and some other junk. I remember Alice In Chains Jar of Flies and another homemade tape with "HAL ROACH: IRISH COMEDY" written on the cover.

I voted for Kirsty MacColl bcuz of unexpected awesomeness. I thought the singer was Twinkle "Golden Lights" Ripley for about 30 seconds. fuck 20 minutes of the Moody Blues tho.

ha, I moved from NH to Mass the year before last. I last ate at Papa Gino's a few months ago, not gonna like. I feel like I was kinda brainwashed into thinking it was a friendly community joint because I had my 5th birthday party there (everyone did, for some reason) and got to toss pizza dough with my friends. thin, floury crust iirc.

I ate at the Papa Gino's in Charlestown once many moons ago. It was not a pleasant dining experience.

ive said puppa gino to myself like a hundred times since making that post btw, i would eat there if someone walked in and invited me right now

papa gino's isn't great but my roommate insists that it's worse than papa john's or dominos which has become a major point of contention

Today at lunch I found out that there is a pizza place chain called something I can't remember but they're shaped like giant mushrooms! I wish we had those here.

did a lot of American prog dudes start paying attention to the Fairport Convention (or just British folk-rock in general) in the mid-'70s? I feel like this guy probably never heard Unhalfbricking or Liege & Lief, but he must have had more than a passing interest in the group if he was familiar with Sandy Denny's solo work. it's weird that "Candle in the Wind" is off of a Sandy Denny album that wasn't released in the US until 1986.

I mean I guess it's possible that mixtape maker is an ex-Brit.
