John Prine - s/t - poll

so many great songs, kind of tempted to give it to "Illegal Smile" just cuz I love that he claims its not about pot, but that when he performed it on some public access-type tv show they'd cut away to a potted marijuana plant sat on a chair.

Love this album to bits. "Your Flag Decal..." this morning, or "Pretty Godo" and that guitar lick. Will decide after lunch.

i'm probably going to vote for illegal smile but hello in there and sam stone are two of the most effectively depressing songs. also got a soft spot for pretty good.

actually i'm gonna vote for the one about the stripper who wants to grow peaches - after i reaffirm the title
