Every few months it seems I go on a jag where I listen to their first one over and over. There's some Bacharach, some Steely Dan... Gary Clark apparently knows how to write a pop song Not sure they have ever gotten their proper acclaim

I hear Steely Dan in "Lorraine Parade" btw. Mu-ish chords?

And "I Won't Be Here When you Get Home" is the Bacharach, unless my ear is just that broken
