'nite and day', both pebbles singles, and 'my prerogative' are monoliths that must be respected and there's at least another half dozen up there that i could easily vote for including what might be my favorite sade single (on a hot july night at least) but tbh i gotta do da butt all night long.

Mercedes Boy just brings back some great warm memories of Spring/Summer '88 in the Bay Area. Purely sentimental vote. Still a good song, though... Or... maybe I'll go with Wishing Well. Or Nite and Day. Or One More Try... Damn, this is a hard year.
