1001 Tracks Should You Download Before You Die(TM) ???

So I was thinking about using this thread to do a new version that might include songs from the past 8 years and a diffferent POV with the current ilxors roaming the lands. On the first one Barima more or less ruined a good thing by choosing almost half the list himself with different songs by the same artists. To avoid this sort of problems I suggest a limit of 30... nay, 40 songs per user with the possibility of getting more nom votes if we have trouble getting to 1001. There's no limit on the number of songs per single artist you can choose but keeping the ratio low as etiquette would be nice.

TLDR: You may nominate up to 40 songs as the only rule. Have fun.

Stockhausen's Stimmung isn't a track; the version I found on Spotify is album length, multi-track. And very good it is too.

Yeah, I know. I originally dropped it for that very reason but then I saw we already had a Van Morrison song upthread so hurriedly swapped it back in to get back to 40. In the book, it's treated as a single "song" though. And the 'movements' do run into one another without a break. I bet that somewhere out there there's a recording of Stimmung produced as a single "track".

It was either that or Michael Crawford :)

only way i know is to save it as a plain text file in word, then import into excel using the "Delimited" option when asked to choose the file type of the original data and put a period (.) - numbers and names will then be assigned to individual columns (if you replace the (-) with (.) in your (plain text) list, track titles will also be placed in a seperate column)
