i have to be honest that i kind of love this song bc it's fuckin kooky as shit

I wouldn't think about it THAT much. Most gays are caught in a spiral of loving and loathing things that seem somehow tailored to someone else's conception of "them," maybe even more so when it comes from people who can swap out "them" for "us." Gooble gobble, et al.
