I just thought I'd post here having discovered that there was a 2nd part of David Ouimet directed music after the demise of Motherhead Bug. He was part f the band Sulfur who putout an lp called Delirium Tremens in '98 that seems to be somewhat similar except they feature a harsh female vocalist called Michelle Amar.

I'm not sure how I initially stumbled on Motherhead Bug but I got the cd of their lp Zambodia in the mid 90s and have loved it ever since. It seems to process ideas from Edgar Allen Poe, Raymond Chandler & possibly H.P. Lovecraft over a gypsy jazz backing.Could be I stumbled across their My Sweet Milstar track on the Big Cat sampler lp. That track is a love song from a ballistic missile silo to the missile and is somewhat harder hitting than some of the rest of the music on the lp and features guitar from Norman Westberg who I think was ex-Swans at the time. There's also a track called Blister that I think may feature on that same compi that's also pretty hard hitting. Think it was this in fact that got stuck in my head for a long time before I found the lp. Think I played it very heavily in the early days of my radio show in Dublin.
SO been delighted to find this Sulfur recording this afternoon. Also to hear taht David Ouimet continued with his illustration career after drawing things like the lp coverhttp://rateyourmusic.com/release/album/motherhead_bug/zambodia/he went on to illustrate things like thishttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dare_to_be_Scared
