Mystikal always seemed out of place as a No Limit Soldier. As much as I love their cinema verite straight to video monsterpieces (fuck Harmony Korine, man), I have never owned a No Limit record and I’ve never wanted to. (Even Mystikals.) Third-rate, grunge grinding, barely bounce that somehow managed to go multi-platinum; the poor man’s Cash Money. Stick Mystikal on a track with anyone and he’s gonna be all over them like sticky on rice. But stick him on a track with Silkk The Shockkkkkka, and it might as well be MC Fred Flinstone rapping about Fruity Pebbles.

Lame. I never want to hear this song again and I bet I never will.

When I first heard this song I called it "The Worst Thing Ever" for some time. I haven't listened to it since. My attitude has changed on a lot of things, but I'm weary about revisiting it.

i like this song (if i'm thinking of the right one) because it was the soundtrack to a booty-shakin contest on a 'wild on spring break' episode!!

OTM. I remember when I heard the first cash money related single (much after no limit) and actually wondering if no limit had some lame subsiderary.

And hey, remember Mystikals part on "make 'em say unghhhhh" (is there a correct spelling of that song?) It was the best part of it. I love that song. I'm going to download it now.

beatles fan, Saturday, 3 September 2005 23:57 (twenty years ago)

i still think the best intro to any song ever is at the start of "make em say ungghh" and the dude phones up the no limit officers impersonating p and the other dude is like "let me hear you say ungggghhh, p" and the other guy does this really lightweight high-pitched unnngh and dude on the other end is all like "yo this aint p" and hangs up.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaleel_White
In June 2006, an internet rumor was spread via email that Jaleel White had committed suicide. The email contained a fake Associated Press report stating that White was found dead in his Los Angeles apartment after shooting himself. The report, which contained fake quotes from former co-stars and associates, also claimed that White left behind a suicide note that contained Steve Urkel's popular catch phrase, "Did I do that?". No legitimate news outlets ever picked up the story. Five months after the hoax, White addressed the rumor stating, "I don’t even know what to say about that darned thing. As much as you try to live your life right, you’re gonna get sucker-punched now and then. That was my sucker punch back in June".
