Drunk In Hell

I was absolutely unaware of this lot at Supersonic last year and had an absolute blast watching them, so was determined not to miss them again this year. Despite playing high on the bill both times, I'm curious as to how they've stayed under evrybody's radar but have somehow become the best band in Britain.

Capsule's description is:

Apathy is everything to these five losers who’ll just about manage to turn up and play without being sick.
Lo-fi grit and metal maledom are fractured and recombined into monotone slabs which reference distaste for modern life as much as they poke fun at the traditions of the punk/hardcore idiom. Still barely functioning after four years of staring at the walls and occasional live performance, the band will finally have their debut album and a split 7″ record with Kilslug in tow with them for the latter part of 2012. All proceeds will be spent on plastic surgery.

I guess I'd characterise them as single riff arsequake, or maybe SST hardcore if it only did Flipper covers. And awesome fun.

Anybody else have love for them?

As you say in the other one, they've got no desire to be any bigger than they are so will remain secretly Britain's best band.

four years pass...

Five years on, the debut album referred to in the OP will finally come out on Burning World at the end of September.
