Another difficult one for me, this. At the moment I'm torn between maybe 'Swing' and 'Methods Of Dance', but I think I'm going to have to seriously think about this one!

I went for 'Methods Of Dance' in the end, love those synths and that nimble bassline. Some great drumming from Steve Jansen, too!

Good results. I ended up going with Taking Islands but it could have been Methods of Dance or My New Career. Ain't That Peculiar is pretty poor but it doesn't stop this album being 10/10.

Ain't That Peculiar has incredible bass tho from Mick Karn! By no means the best song on here but hardly worthy of scorn.

The bass playing is a point in the favour of pretty much every Japan track! :D Although 'Ain't That Peculiar' is definitely my least favourite thing on here. Can't complain with these results, though... it's one of those polls which could have went a number of different ways! Ludicrously strong album :)
