live365 anybody?

anybody here do a show we should check out?

Fritz Wollner (Fritz), Friday, 27 September 2002 14:50 (twenty-three years ago)

WFMU gives you your choice of formats, and I have it going all day. Try the Windows Media stream, and if that fails, send the station manager an e-mail.

yeah, colin, the streaming wfmu stuff is working great, I just can't hear the archived shows. I really want to hear "downtown soulville"... it looks so great from the playlists.

Fritz -- definitely send an e-mail to ken@wfmu.org. They've had to do some fiddling with the archives -- I think that you can only stream them now and not download them -- in order to keep them on-line after the stupid new royalty decision came down.

I can't get it to work at the mo. Assuming this is just a temporary state of affairs, I'd recommend Radio 1, Czech Republic. www.radio1.cz

www.kexp.org, especially the morning show. (6- 10 am pacific, 9 - 1pm eastern, 2 - 6pm uk)

others swear by kcrw.org's morning show, esp. for the live performaces.
