I think. I might be understating how much rational people hate the Murray Gold music.

Whatever, you guys! I'm just saying that a hoy hoy should count all votes for Doctor Who together and when it places we can all sort out the good ones from the bad.

We already did this conversation in the other thread! The majority of people thought it was better to just have one 'Doctor Who' entry! Which is probably why nothing else got nominated, b/c we thought it'd get fixed to just say 'Doctor Who'!

The main reason why I'm so het up about this is because it so easily deserves to win and I will be PISSED OFF if it misses out b/c of confusing entries.

Yeah, the theme from Amen in particular is pretty spectacular.

reviewing this list really makes me realize what was lost when "two good-looking guys driving nice cars and shooting at things while bad synthesizer music and/or foreigner rip-offs play in the background" was no longer a viable tv show pitch

also that if you sped the "alf" theme song up about 200 percent it'd basically be a squarepusher track

i think the fun of this is that it's hard to say what's "leftfield" and what isn't, since there's not really any TV theme song canon, just shows people know and have different opinions and anecdotal evidence of how they're regarded

In terms of doubles and a show I don't know - are Miami Vice and Miami Vice - Crockett's Theme the same thing or seperate?

They're totally different tunes, both by the same composer though

Crockett's theme is the most nostalgic music EVER, it was on a bank ad in the 80s and then a similar one was in a milk ad.
