on my copy of Baroque Bordello's Today 12 inch (80's 12-inch produced by Lol Tolhurst) someone had written in big black magic marker on the front cover: LIKE THE CURE WITH A GIRL SINGER. i always loved that for some reason. and i guess its reasonably accurate. anyway, would love to see some examples of what pops into people's heads when they read those words. could be from the 80's. doesn't have to be. siouxsie a little obvious though. and if you turn me on to any cool lesser-known 80's gothy stuff i've never heard i'll give you a prize.

Well, not 80's, but Boyskout probably qualify, on the more pop side. I liked their first album pretty well. Should be some stuff on youtube...
