(Yes, most of my mixes feature both at least one goofy upbeat house track and at least one stoner-rock anthem)

i hope the second track is the much rumored john cage/agent orange collaboration.

(or luke cage: power man/agent orange, for that matter.)

your "goofy upbeat house track" is one of the greatest songs in the history of mankind!!!

No, it's one of Eminem's adversaries rapping over the Clockwork Orange theme with breakbeats. It's great because he does the Alex monologue with an East Coast accent ("Kuhrova Milk Baw"). It's also great because he rhymes "walking dead" with "I'll burn your house down like a fuckin' Talking Head"

Ah the LRD remix, nice, heard it this morning circa 7 as the sun was coming through the curtains and it managed to freeze the party, strings in electronic music irk me a bit sometimes but not really here.

> Felix Da Housecat - Silver Screen Shower Scene (Les Rhythmes Digitales remix)

OH MY GOD this song is preposterous. If you want more, get Gabriel & Dresden's remix of Way Out West's "Mindcircus" - chugging nu-80s house that gets STUCK. IN. YOUR. HEAD. I think I know someone who has it :)

nice stuff, obv. "Tell You Today" is quickly becoming some kind of Rosetta stone for me....

(or luke cage: power man/agent orange, for that matter.)

"What do you expect? They got no homes, no decent schoolin', no money, no jobs- no hope! So they shoot up skag, an' then shoot people to get bread to feed their habits. Yeah, an' they live in a society more concerned about caging 13 year olds for life than tryin' to give 'em a decent chance. We're super heroes, Ororo, not God. We can save humanity from Doc Doom or Galactus- but not from itself"

Luke Cage really was Marvel's answer to Isaac Hayes, wasn't he?

so Nate, just to confirm to the uninitiated, are these tracks actually mixed into each other, or is it a case of start next record as soon as previous one finishes...genuinely curious!

Welcome Cobo! I got your ass listed on Soulseek now so I'm gonna gank all your shit.

blueski, they are simply in sequence and aren't mixed into each other. (I am thinking that the LRD remix would fit nicely between "Me Myself and I" and "Blue Monday" though.)
