here's something maura sent me, apparently discovered on spotify by her and dan cohen while solving a mystery hunt puzzle. it's amazing and strange; superb r&b freestyle grooves + gorgeous vocals, but with severe multitracking of said vocals, plus bizarre mixing given to sudden quietnesses, appropriate because the tracks themselves seem overwhelmed with all of the instrumental and vocal elements. i don't really have a place for it except that this howard johnson is apparently the howard johnson of niteflyte
