French (?) classical composer turned uber-muzak pioneer? I heard him in a Chinese restaurant and immediately got the CD from the owner to burn. It's all Brady Bunch arrangements of 60s and 70s movie songs, but I had never heard of him before then.

not that high. it was number one in Britain however (displacing ultra-Americana in the process).
