And now I know he fuckin hates me!!! If the Sun City Girls show at the Knitting Factory starts @ 10 and Savage Repubilc is headlining @ South Paw what is the quickest route between these venues.

yancey OTM but add 10 minutes to walk from the Knitting Factory to Canal/Lafayette, and 10 to walk to Southpaw.... how come every subway trip takes 35 minutes total no matter where the endpoints are?

i'm guessing 11pm, brg30. maybe call them?

Cool thanks. So what are people gonna do? Leave the Sun City Girls show early,miss part of Savage Republic's set.Neither of these bands have played anywhere on the East Coast for about a decade. Neither will probably be back soon.

Apparently, Savage Republic and Sun City Girls are trying to work out show times or something such that NYCers can see each others shows without missing the other. Each might have an extra show in the area as well.

I'm not GUARANTEEING this will all work out, but at least they know about the dilemma, and are trying to make everyone and everything happy.

SR's plan is that they are going to go on late (probably after midnight) and I'm going to hope that they keep to that for the evening as I definitely want to see SCG also. SR have also said that they don't plan to do any more shows after this short tour.
