I've had Received Transgressed & Transmitted (Beggars Banquet, 2001) in the car for a few days now. Not only does this little gem still hold up, it sounds better than ever. Is this their best album? Why are they so forgotten? I can hardly find anything about their albums.

I got in to Win and Nectarine No. 9 in a big way last year... It took me 6 months to discover the existence of the third album, 'Fried For Blue Material', as it wasn't even mentioned on their Wiki entry or Discogs at that point. The only album I'm less keen on is 'I Love Total Destruction', which is one of the least happy-go-lucky albums I've ever heard.

I remember them doing a Peel Session in the 90s. It was good if I remember rightly and I taped it.

Trying hard to get Radial Spangle out my head now.

Oh so it was them that did the version of Frownland not Radial Spangle

That was probably the best Peel show I ever heard. http://peel.wiki.com/wiki/21_August_1993

I think I discovered these guys because Gareth Sager played with them at some point, though now I can't find how or where that might have been...
