nyc/jersey path question

i am going to the chameleonsUK show at maxwells in jersey saturday night. i will be staying in union square. how often does the path run between the two? does it run all night? i have never been to jersey..ususally i stick to the village...so any local help would be great. cheers.

hey, the path runs all night between hoboken and new york, it just does so kind of slowly on the weekends (one train twice an hour), so bring a good book, or some travel scrabble, or just entertain yourself by reminding yourself that you are in sultry, exotic new jersey.
