Songs that would have been better if Phil Spector had produced them

Sometimes I'll hear a song and think, damn, this would have been a million times better if Phil Spector had been at the boards.

Here's an example. "Sea of Love" is a fine song and all, but I could imagine it being so much more warm, enveloping, and expansive, and frankly, the production it did get did not serve the song very well IMO. It sounds like some half-assed barbershop quartet (more like duo), and there's no atmosphere at all. It could have been, like many of Spector's songs, housed within its own universe. But it's not.

Post your examples of songs that you could imagine being a lot better with Spector.

I'm not sure everything would have sounded great in his hands. There are certainly unlikely artists that might have benefited, like Danzig (but not necessarily the Misfits).

Have you heard the Derek and the Dominoes single he did? That is some fucked up shit, some amazing abuse of tape.

Of current bands I could hear Phil doing an End of The Century on a ballad-heavy Reigning Sound record... but maybe that's a little on-the-nose

Maybe a Death of A Ladies Man-style Bill Callahan record?

i actually thought about AWK, but even though AWK layers tons of stuff on his tracks, Spector's thing is all about ambience and reverb, and I don't think that would work with AWK.

The "Do You Remember Rock and Roll Radio" approach could totally work for AWK imo.
