He's got a recent album on Fat Possum that I have not heard. Guessing it's his standard mix of rock, blues and country.

i almost bought a b.i.g. hed toddd & da monstaz cd at the thrift store this morning. i actually used to own it! its bittersweet. more sweet than bitter.

i bought a jacques dutronc tape and a lords of the underground cd and an AWESOME geno washington disco album instead.

The Ecko label current Southern soul I like is not Americana enough for these folks (it sometimes has synths on it)and is not marketed to this audience
