can't believe Rachel doesn't have her own thread yet! lord knows she's put out enough stuff to warrant a thread.

SEARCH
s/t LP on Spectrum Spools (easily my favorite all-around release. hits me in the same place Delia Gonzalez & Gavin Russom's Days of Mars.)
Seeping Through The Veil Of The Unconscious (my introduction to MSoTT; needless to say it worked. )
Luminaries & Synastry
split w/ Topaz on Tranquility Tapes (her side on this is my favorite single piece she's ever put out)
A Marbled Youth
Sistrum mini-CD

DESTROY
The Perennials EP (did not impress)
the Crystal Anniversary split w/ Nova Scotian Arms (her side is meh and I have yet to hear a Grant Evans piece that I actually like)

even the destroy albums aren't, like, bad or anything; they're just less impressive than the highlights. it's crazy how high her signal/noise ratio is, especially considering how much stuff she's put out. you basically have to be johnny on the spot to get a physical copy of her tape releases too; her latest release on Hooker Vision sold out from source in a day. then she has a bunch of releases that are put out in editions of like nine, which is basically just trolling Discogs.

The self titled lp from last year is awesome and Luminaries ... is really nice as well.

The s/t album is incredible. I spend an entire day searching London's record stores for the CD before finally finding it in HMV for £23(!). Oh, how I laughed (cried) and bought it anyway.

I liked her side of that Crystal Anniversary split but it's probably still a destroy because Nova Scotian Arms is fully boring. Has anyone listened to Quiet Evenings, their collab project?

Perennials was a bit disappointing but not bad by any stretch.

Also search: Traces.

In a similar vein, there is no Bee Mask thread.

Have been a fan for a year or so, but still only heard the first three in the opening post. Luminaries & Synastry is my favourite one so far, love the drifting muzziness of her stuff.

some of early stuff on hooker vision is pretty dope - theres some james ferraro-style digital wasteland stuff i really liked at the time - i probably posted about it on ilx but i can't remember which specific ones. i have a bunch of those cassettes in my apartment, i might give them a listen tonight. but i think the s/t on spectrum spools and the ghost ambient tape she put out on digitalis in like 2010 are probably the key searches.

i know everybody else has already forgotten abt it but can we have one chillwave thread that isnt entirely ¡LOLwave! or w/e

^ this was the post i was thiking of. the track is from a split she did with nova scotian arms on sweat lodge guru. thats the other key search for me, i was def into her side of that split a fair bit.

I really don't like Quiet Evenings but I like MSoTT so much that I keep end up giving Quiet Evenings a chance. but they are always boring.

The latest Quiet Evenings was pretty decent IMO. I really REALLY liked the direction on The Perennials. She seems to be working up to a Grouper-like level of cult devotion. Her show here in NY a month or two ago was extremely well-attended with many mouth breathers clamoring for the merch table.
