I fear I may well be alone in my knowledge of this wee nugget of TV actually doing a decent job with music... basically, it's one of those late-night/early morning ITV programmes that cost about a fiver to make, but this is actually quite ace. What it does (or used to do at least) is take a particular year then just show tiny video clips of pop songs from that year, featuring interviews with artists of the time. And it's really good. Think it's moved on to doing it for old genres now (last one I saw was stadium rock, I think)... not too comprehensive, but as a taster and primer for further investigation, it's class.

Anyone else seen it? Am I just saying this cos it made me realise how classy Wear Your Love Like Heaven really is?

yes i saw a few of these, the 1991 one was superb - it was bizarre to see Chapterhouse and Slowdive introducing their 'new' videos...and the Nirvana footage was also cool

did u c the 1996 one wit northern uproar saying fuck constantly cos they didn't know how to finish sentences? also reminded me of the line-dance craze "achy breaky heart" started off.
