anyway: new jersey emo band with post-rock affectations, and like 100 percent better than that really suggests. album has been kind of endlessly rewarding for me so far this year.

I would describe them as the midway point between American Football, Mew, and some third data point I can't quite put my finger on. I love the use of strings on the latest one, though I think I slightly prefer the previous album overall. The eight-minute remix of "No Parachutes" on the deluxe version is....insane?
