There's an interesting contest afoot involving several contestants and their analog modular synths.
Although started in another forum, the Aleatoric Duel (which is really more of a shoot out) is open to
voting from anybody. The URL below tells the story, gives instructions on voting, and contains the
MP3's.
Although the identity of the composers isn't necessarily a secret, no one will know who did what
until after the votes are in. The analog systems used are a secret as well, and it is up to the voter
to decide whether it's Buchla or Blacet, Moog or Modcan, Wiard or WHATEVER! This is a good
opportunity to test your ears. If nothing else, you can learn what the definition of "aleatoric" is. :-)
You can still listen, even if you don't vote.
