Lifetime playlist

A friend of mine just did this on Spotify. Every song she can remember loving. Chronological order!!!! I am totally going to do this when I get a spare 5000000 hours.

Lifetime playlist.

Every song? Jesus Christ. How long did it take her/him? And how many did it come to?

I guess it might work if you're really strict on the songs; as in, you must have absolutely adored them.

But I love a lot of songs!

This used to be something people would attempt with CDR700 posts on ilm. I started one, but never finished.

ironically a lot of the playlist would be lifetime (tony williams and hardcore band)

I've been compiling my list for the last 25 years. I have them scribbled in many different journals and have also made a fresh compilation of "new" material that revealed the essence of the entire playlist is actually my future memorial. Odd, i suppose, but simply assembling my favorite songs in a list is something i do all the time, and putting together a more personal list has proved to be very revealing exercise. Probably assembled 300 songs at this point.

I am actually doing this now.... It's sort of like a test-run for if/when my hard-drive ever dies :/

And many, many songs are not on Spotify.. If a song's not on Spotify, does it make a sound? It's sort of like trying to remember a vacation after having seen the photos you took a few times - the rest starts receding into mist
