I think for me it would have to be trashmonk/kevin rowland's panty record/the twisted nerve back catalogue....

DJ Q-Bert's Demolition Pumpkin Squeeze Muzik (or however it's misspelled). Weirdest old-school breaks mix ever (special bonus points for working in the opening to Numan's "Films" and incorporating lots of Marvel Superhero read-along storybook nonsense).

fantastica's already been reissued, kinski.

me, i would do a reissue of the _andromeda strain_ soundtrack in the original 10", hexagonal cut vinyl. in the silver, fold-out cover. oh yeah.

and a vermonster box set on CD.

Ooooh, aaaaah. I've been hoping someone releases this (and I don't care what format), because it's one of the first Moog-derived soundtracks and it's by avant-jazzbo Gil Melle.

Michael Daddino (epicharmus), Saturday, 5 October 2002 23:38 (twenty-three years ago)

Oooh! A R Kane's "69".

Jay Vee (Manon_70), Sunday, 6 October 2002 05:23 (twenty-three years ago)

I think my imaginary label Meowsydisc would have to rerelease a bunch of stuff by The Gerogerigegege - particuarly "Tokyo Anal Dynamite" and "45RPM Performance" (the last one espsecially as I've never heard it, and people keep going on how it's the loudest record ever...)

Tiger-We Are Puppets

I love this record. It doesn't sound all that much like the Fall to me, it's more like "Son of My Father" era Giorgio Moroder. I miss Tiger.

Also, the 21st Century Girls album. I'm sure Graham would agree.

thirteen years pass...

i would totally do a deluxe 45 rpm audiophile vinyl reissue of soul glitter & sin by thee hypnotics. pay someone like scott hull a ton of money to master it or maybe dubplates & mastering in germany. 3 album boxed set. do a run of 1000 copies and throw away the first 200 copies - because scott hull tells me that the first 200 records of any pressing run are always the worst because the machines haven't warmed up properly - and release 800 numbered copies. no colored vinyl. just good vinyl from wherever Kompakt gets their vinyl. i would have john leckie oversee the whole thing from start to finish. all from the original tapes obviously. hopefully they still exist. would do a 2CD version too.

the original vinyl version is actually missing two songs!

this is great by the way and i'm glad someone interviewed him about the album:
